We’ve raised $350M in new funding as part of our Series B led by General Catalyst and co-led by Spark Capital, with additional participation from existing investors, new financial partners, and some of the most iconic companies in tech.
The recent pace of progress in generative AI has been nothing short of astounding. For years, we’ve heard talk of AI’s enormous potential, but over the past few months, a new wave of advancements has catapulted the field into the mainstream. New capabilities in both text and image generation have given the world a preview of the transformative power of this technology, and there’s a sense that we’re on the cusp of AI’s “big moment.”
This is just the beginning.
At Adept, we’re completely reimagining the way that you interact with your computer. We believe that AI systems should be built with users at the center — our vision is one where machines work together with people in the driver’s seat: discovering new solutions, enabling more informed decisions, and giving us more time for the work we love. Think about Adept as an AI teammate or a collaborative co-pilot that can supercharge your capabilities on any software tool or API in the world. We’re building a future in which you can tell your computer to do something in your own words and then just watch it happen on your screen. Less time wasted on frustrating, manual, multi-step processes. More time spent solving the problems that matter most to you, your community, and society.
It’s an ambitious goal, and we’re excited to share an update that will help us get there.
We’ve raised $350M in new funding as part of our Series B led by General Catalyst and co-led by Spark Capital, two exceptional partners who share our vision of uniting research and product to enable people and computers to work together creatively. Their support, combined with additional participation from existing investors, new financial partners, and some of the most iconic companies in tech, will help us launch our initial products, train our models, and onboard even more exceptional talent.
Since announcing our Series A about a year ago, we introduced ACT-1 , our first large model for actions, and it’s already demonstrating cutting-edge capabilities. It can take complex user requests across a range of software tools and execute them, even coordinating across multiple tools when needed. We can’t wait to share more about the new things that we’ve recently trained our model to do.
We’re thrilled about this next chapter for Adept, and we’re looking for exceptional builders, tinkerers, and visionaries to join us on our journey. We’re hiring across engineering and product roles, and can’t wait to meet you!
